High Temperature Exhaust Covers

We were asked to visit site to design and install high temperature covers to 8 x diesel engine exhaust systems operating at 600°C for energy saving and reducing noise in an enclosed container.

The work involved liaising with the client with regards to the design and application so that all the covers fitted against each other to reduce noise levels within the container. The materials used on the project included PU silica cloth, Pu on glass cloth, high density ceramic fibre insulation, stainless steel mesh for protection against vibration, stainless steel lacing hooks and springs for securing, coupled with stainless steel sewing thread.

Boiler End Covers

We were asked to visit site to survey and design a boiler end covers which was required to save energy costs, personal protection and needed to be easily removable for annual inspections at a hospital boiler house.

We designed the covers using silicone coated glass cloth, a heavy density mineral wool insulation and were secured to the boiler using tech bolts. Stainless steel lacing hooks and springs were used for easy removal and refitting of the covers.
